| summary | Ulrick the embroiderer sues the procurators of the St. Francis brotherhood to require them to keep to the contract they made with him or pay £ 10. He sued them also to reimburse him for damages to be determined by experts, arising from non-payment, or pay £ 1. The court ordered the plaintif and the defendants each to choose two masters competent to judge embroidery, who would establish the amount due, which the procurators were to bring to the magistrates for payment to Ulrick, within eight days. Ulrick also sued the procurators of the brotherhood of the “four crowned [saints]” (Quatuor Coronati), Dirck Bort, Michiel Quyrynsz, Cornelis Ghysbrechtsz, Martyn Govertsz, Ysbrant Zyvertsz, and Hubrecht Henriksz, demanding they keep to their contract or pay 36 gulden. |
