summary Geryt Cornelisz from Hazerswoude sues Jan Jansz, goldsmith, claiming that Jan had sold a house and lot on the Breestraat next to the house called “Den Gulden Helm” with a yearly lease of 10 stuvers, but had hold back on the yearly lease of £2 from the commander of the Sint Pieterskerk. Geryt demands the sale of the house anulled and demands payment of £6 for wine, or a fine determined by the magistrates, plus current and future costs. On August 8, the court decides that the defendant should free the plaintiff from the yearly lease of £2.
